Sometimes being human and trying to have good relationships at the same time seems impossible. How can you balance your own mental and emotional health with the well being of the people you care about and the demands of work, school, and community? I work with teens and adults who are experiencing symptoms of depression and anxiety.
I have a person-centered approach to my work and my goal is to assist you in a greater understanding of your situations, helping you gain insight into your behavior and emotional responses and to give guidance and support in the process of change and growth. I focus on forward movement and building on the strengths that you already possess. I use a variety of therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
I hold a master’s degree in child, couple and family therapy from Antioch University Seattle. I have been practicing therapy since 2007, providing counseling to families, adults, adolescents and children.
