We miss seeing you in person! We also want to make sure that we have effective procedures in place to safeguard the health, safety, and emotional well being of both our clients and our team. Some clinicians have returned to the office part-time for in person appointments. We appreciate your flexibility, patience and understanding during this difficult time.
Each therapist and their client, together and individually, shall have the option to choose telehealth services until the WA state Department of Health advises that risk of any exposure is minimal and that health risk of severe illness and death from COVID-19 and its variants is minimal. Each therapist also has to make a personal decision based on their individual needs and level of risk to their household. Please respect the privacy of your therapist if you are ready and able to come in to the office but they are not yet able to offer in person appointments. No more than two of our therapists will be in the office at one time to ensure adequate social distancing in our reception area.
Clients must self-screen for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 before arriving at Building Skills. Please do not attend your appointment if you are experiencing any symptoms or have a known exposure to COVID.
Clients must wear a cloth face covering in our office.
Clients should not bring other guests with them. Clients with children who must be supervised shall be seen via telehealth.
Clients should wait in their car until the time of their appointment to enter the building/office.
Walk-in appointments are not available.
