Gino Wolfe, MA Candidate, SUDP

Therapist Intern

Life’s journey is wrought with successes and failures! As a result many deal with  emotions, e. g. stress, anxiety, sadness, and so forth, in different ways. I will work collaboratively with each and every one of you in processing those feelings and assist in finding positive paths to navigate this thing we call “life.”  Negative emotions affect every aspect of our lives and I hope to provide a set of tools and resources that can provide a sense of relief in your life. This process is a collaboration or team effort for the betterment of your daily or family life. I am empathic, caring, and compassionate and only want the best and brightest future for all of you.

In accomplishing your goals, I will, in collaboration, with you, use a variety of techniques and approaches that best fit with what you would like to accomplish or need assistance with. I use an evidenced-based, positive outlook approach that centers on reaching your goals and overcoming events that have shaped your life thus far. I will employ Solution-focused, Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral interventions in our efforts for relief and building techniques and skills necessary to deal with the struggles of everyday life. I promise a culturally sensitive practice, which is empathetic, caring, and supportive.

I am currently a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern(child and adolescent specialization) working through Graduate school at Northcentral University. I have been working as mental health clinician and Substance Use Disorder counselor since 2016.  I retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of active service. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading and coaching youth baseball and soccer.
